• Urine pregnancy test kits (Pregnancy Midstream Test) use the principle of measuring the hCG hormone present in urine.
  It can be measured at hCG levels from 10 mlU/mL.
• This hormone is produced from the acid of the embryo after fertilization between the egg and sperm and implants itself in the uterine wall for about 6 days.
  The hormone levels double every 2-3 days, so pregnancy can be detected in urine.

Method of use

• Preparation for urine collection
  • Before testing, wash your hands thoroughly. Check the condition of the test kit and the expiration date of the test kit every time before testing.
  • Unpack the package, then tear open the sachet. Remove the test kit from the sachet. The test kit should be used immediately after tearing open the sachet.
  • Remove the pink cover and twist to reveal the absorbent tip.
  • Urinate directly through the urine absorption port below the arrow until the entire area is wet for at least 10 seconds (do not urinate beyond the arrow area).
  • Close the cover, place or hold it flat.
  • Wait for the color bar to appear. It takes about 5 minutes to see the results.

note

• A colored band appears in the control region (C) indicating that you performed the test correctly and the appropriate amount of urine was absorbed.
• Pregnancy test kits can be used to test for pregnancy from the first day of missed periods. Pregnancy tests can be performed at any time.
  However, if you are pregnant, your first morning urine will contain the highest amount of hCG.
• Medicines that contain the hormones hCG or LH can give false pregnancy results, such as alcohol, birth control pills,
  Painkillers, antibiotics, or hormone replacement therapy do not contain hCG, so they will not affect the pregnancy test results.

Storage method

• The test kit should be stored in the manufacturer’s sealed container at a temperature between 4-30°C.
• It has a shelf life according to the expiration date specified.
• Should be kept away from heat, humidity and sunlight.

Advice

• It should be checked after waking up in the morning and if the reading is unclear, repeat after 48 hours.
• It is used for preliminary screening only. You should see a doctor again.
